AirPrint is a feature for compatible wireless printer on the Mac, but Apple withdrawn AirPrint support from Mac OS X 10.6.5 at the last moment, may be due to some patent problems. Thanks to Steven Troughton-Smith, who figured out how to activate AirPrint with latest Mac Update. Following are the DIY instructions to turn it back on, so you can enjoy wireless printing from all your compatible iDevices using iOS 4.2.
1). Download Mac OS X 10.6.5 (beta) build 10H542 from torrent or other file sharing sites. We need to extract three files.
/usr/libexec/cups/filter/urftopdf /usr/share/cups/mime/apple.convs /usr/share/cups/mime/apple.types
2). Copy the file urftopdf folder / usr / libexec / cups / filter / ;
3). Copy and replace apple.convs and apple.types files in the folder / usr / share / cups / mime / ;
Pro tip to access the /usr directory:
Launch the Terminal app and type
open -a Finder /usr/libexec/cups
