Job Description
We are looking for a senior Ship Building professional who is well versed with modern ship building techniques and has also handled a Profit & Loss account.
The person will lead the Hazira ship building facility where construction of ships upto 160 meters long is possible.
We need a person who is commercially astute and also excellent in Ship Construction modern techniques.
We admire talent from commercial ship yards in India. We may also tap Indians in ship building yards in Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and other parts of the Far East. We prefer expats with international shipbuilding exposure capable of managing a team of 1600 – 2000 workmenØ This is a leadership profile ideally with around 20 years of relevant experience and about 45-52 years of age. A Naval Architect/Engineering Graduate with strong commercial orientation will be suitable.
Ø The candidate who we seek will have significant experience of managing all dimensions of a Ship building facility such as employee relations, productivity etc.
