JOB DESCRIPTION
Role – Solution / Bid Management
1) Program manage the bid process end to end and be responsible for all deal deliverables – qualification ,response documents, bid defense , solution workshops, due diligence , site visits, supporting contract negotiation, transition etc. Maintain high win to bid ratio.
2) Provide key inputs and direction in the solution development including review and validation of the solution, creation of prototypes & ensuring billing of all/most of the team.
3) Participate in the discussions with the client during the bid life cycle including solution workshops, Solution presentations
4) Provide inputs and review deal structuring, develop commercial offer and participate in contract negotiation
5) Participation in pre-bid activities - Deal qualification and competition analysis
6) Leverage and help build/extend the Knowledge management and best practices framework to articulate HCL response for strategic opportunities
7) Leverage cross functional teams working across HCL (ADM, Infrastructure, BPO, horizontal practices, Domain, HR, Legal, Business Finance) to deliver an integrated solution
8) Ensure team synergies across the globally dispersed core and virtual teams supporting the bid process, including bid management, solution & cold calling team members. Obtain Accreditation for self & team.
9) Remain abreast with the latest technologies in the concerned domain & advise solutions in line with HCL capability.
10) Display Thought Leadership by Preparing Service Articulations/GTM strategies, Publishing White Papers, participating in Industry Forums/Events & Developing Case Studies.
11) Knowledge Management System: Creation of Collaterals & ensure accessibility through Sales Excellence Portal
12) Review activities of Opportunity / Bid Mgrs / Solutioning & Billing/ Lead Management & Conduct Vertical specific reviews, including quality of bids in SFA, funnel movement etc.
13) Should have atleast Pre-sales experience of 10-15 years in IT services Space
14) Should have experience of African market
15) Should be keen to be based In Kenya, Africa
