Mandate to lead the paid search marketing agenda including :
o Lead a team to develop and execute the PPC marketing strategy for India’s largest private e-commerce brand
o Constantly improve the volume & cost delivered through search campaigns by :
§ Driving keyword expansion
§ Improving account structures
§ Quality score & landing page optimization
§ Ad copy & bid optimization
§ Developing strong objective sets for campaigns based on business intelligence
o Through the above, deliver on the committed traffic quantity, quality & cost parameters agreed with the product / business / marketing teams.
o Work closely with organic search team to ensure knowledge sharing as well as overall search (paid+organic) optimization.
o Hire, manage & build a small but strong team with best in class search marketing competencies, skills & experience sets.
o Develop search marketing strategies for market entry & penetration for the existing & new international markets footprint for makemytrip.
o Be the first person responsible to hire, manage & drive agencies and tools for managing search campaigns.
Desired Profile
· MBA or eqv from a premier business school with at least 2-4 years of hardcore digital marketing experience of a good scale including hands on PPC / SEM marketing. Engineers / MCA eqv. with strong relevant experience can also apply.
· Strong analytical abilities & communication skills
· Must have good interpersonal & creative appreciation skills
· Must have a strong understanding of marketing concepts & the digital marketing domain.
