Dubai: Singer Lani Misalucha, dubbed "Asia's nightingale of the Philippines", is set to wow fans during her first solo concert in Dubai on January 21.

The event will be held at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, with Misalucha performing her best numbers, show producer Kaseem Ahmad told Gulf News.

"Lani Misalucha is a big star and a diva in Vegas so we are sure this is going to be a jam packed show," Ahmad said.

Misalucha migrated to the United States with her family in 2004, at the peak of her career.

There, she became the first Asian singer to hit Las Vegas mainstream and was voted "Best Singer" in the 27th Annual Best of Las Vegas in 2008.

Misalucha is known for her versatility as a singer; performing pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm, blues and operatic arias.
