PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
Operations of the Corporate and Investment banking activity in Asia is engaged in a strategy to improve its operational efficiency and securitize its processes.
The Organisation department within CAO/ORG is in charge of implementation strategic projects defined under the Operation roadmap related to
- Process Optimisation
-Transformation of operational set-up
- Implement Securitization projects
- Regulatory projects
The Business Analyst will be involved in the different project phases : Study, implementation, post-go live follow-up
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
As part of the Operations project team, the Senior BA will lead or take part in projects where he / she will:
Responsible for process re-engineering projects to enhance efficiency and improve productivityIdentify areas where Front to Accounting processes can be streamlined, standardised or automated Propose process improvement action plan applying the 6–sigma or other re-engineering methodologyPropose and implement adequate solutions to mitigate operational risks and optimise control frameworkPerform opportunity study to rationalise the Operations business model to be cost efficient and resilientCoordinate the implementation of new organisation in line with the Operations strategyDefine the functional requirements in collaboration with the production teamsProvide the detailed specifications to IT teams whenever necessaryCoordinate the User Acceptance Tests or handle them whenever necessaryPropose and conduct change management actionsControl the post roll-out of all projectsCoordinate with project teams in Head-Office or Regional hub to ensure consistency and adequacy with global guidelines and best practices.Report to management the progress on the project as well as potential issues / decision needed.The Senior BA will be responsible for coordinating "strategic" projects or programs. He shall report progress and risks to the management. In this context, the Senior BA will be responsible for the follow-up on the tasks of the BAs working on the project or program.
The Senior BA participates to the improvement of the project team efficiency (knowledge sharing, standardization of reporting, trainings on methodology …) .

Strong analytical skillsAble to work in high pressure environmentVery good communication skills both written and OralGood understanding of Front to Back trade processesKnowledge of Operational Risk managementMinimum of 6 years experience, preferably in consulting with good exposure in the banking sectorGreen Belt or Black belt certificationBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY REQUIRED:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Graduate degree in finance, business administration, economics
Ø Master in Business Administration is a plus
