Analyst – Equity Research
Industry Expertise: Food Manufacturing, Food Retail, HPC (Household and Personal Care)
· Candidate will come in as a middle to senior level in Investment Research with responsibilities of delivering equity research, financial modeling, sector research and other related products
· Candidate will have prior experience in industries mentioned above and would have initiated coverage in various companies in these sectors
· The candidate must have significant experience in Equity Research, Valuation and Financial Modeling; and posses excellent command over written and spoken English
· Ideal candidate will come from either Indian research houses/ leading KPOs/ niche Equity Research outsourcing firms
· Experience in business research is desirable and so is flexibility to contribute to business research vertical at Employer
Job Description
· Source financial statements and essential data using on-line and other sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.
· Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using historical model building and developing projections
· Development of compete financial model
· Conduct broad industry research and analysis, maintain databases and spreadsheet models
· Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA, Sum of the parts etc
· Complete report-writing including initiating coverage reports, company profiles, quarterly updates and sector reports; prepare other deliverables such as client presentations or parts thereof
· Participate in and contribute to Employer business development and brand building
Required Skills
· Engineering/ MBA/ CA/ equivalent qualification
· Attention to detail and focus on quality
· Proficient in MS Office
· Excellent communication skills and team player
